It was a dream
This poem has 14 lines and is known as a free verse. This is a free verse and not a sonnet because it lacks a rhyme scheme. Aside for this she talks about how she has had a dream and she was criticizing herself on the life she is currently living and how she can be doing better in living the life she wanted. In other words of people telling you what your doing wrong and how it is going to come back in the future and affect your like. She also uses figurative language to describe how she looked "sparked her wild eyes" To me this is telling me that she feels that she realizes that in the life she has lived she has done nothing to significant but deep down inside she wants to change what she has done and fill it with a moments that are more important but she feels that she cant because it is tooooooooooooooooooo late. i believe that a lot of us have this feeling that we look back on what we have done and asked ourselves if what we are doing is important and will we remember it.

Great intro! Look at how smart you sound! I think you're doing a good job figuring out what the poet is trying to get you to take away. Keep trying to add some of the more technical language and start looking at why the poet chose to do it that way. Good!
