Desert Places by Robert Frost

I'm first going to start out by giving you the antecedent scenario of Robert Frost, he was an American poet and is highly regarded for his realistic depictions of rural life and his command of American colloquial speech. After reading this then reading his poem Desert Places that the poem is true and we just need to read it to understand it! Ha ha so in the first stanza he states that the snow is falling and the night is falling on a field he looked into. To me this made me feel that memories are being covered up by this "snow" and a few important or disturbing thoughts cannot be covered up ( weeds and stubble.) The second stanza tells us about how the poet is in a way lonely. Lonely form now throughout the poem and i believe he has lost something very important to him and nothing can every cover that up and the "snow" proves that by not completely covering everything up.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. I feel lost in this poem and cant wait for someone to do it in class
