Snowman

I chose this poem for not what the poem said, but for what the poem made me think of. The poem made me think of all the things that happen when it is time for the snow to come. When the snow starts to fall the only thing I want to do is go and build a snowman, and after reading this the snowman stood for alot. When building the snowman you use this nothingless substance (snow) to make a meaningfull object. The snowman stands and lasts the whole winter, the only thing that can destroy the snowman is the sun. In line 13-15 , stood out to me because everytime it snows I do not hear anything, maybe the wind but that is all, just silence. I also like how the teachers of this poem in class used the image of snowman to break down the poem and how the different layers of the snowman.... now I cant wait for it to snow.... :::::::::))))))))))))
