Ethics By: Linda Pastan
So after reading this poem I do not believe that my blog has to be 150 words because the question that is presented is simple. The question states "if there was a fire in a museum which would you save, a Rembrandt painting or an old woman who hadnt many years left anyhow?" When I dug into this question I thought to myself what if I didnt save either? To me this would be the most correct because then you would not have to feel bad about saving one and not the other. And then the next qusetion came to my mind and it was " would I feel bad that I didnt save either one?" and my answer was no. I say this because neither of these two objects have had an impact on my life so why should i risk my life in saving something that is not important to me. Over all a great poem >And can you please grade by last two posts.

Interesting. So, if it was someone or something you loved you'd save it/him/her?
ReplyDeleteYes I would, but this is not brought up in the poem I don't believe. That is not what the question is asking
