Lose Yourself

Wow ok I just got done with this whole blog and it all got erased!!!!!!!!!GOSH!!!!
Well, for this weeks blog I thought I would mix it up and do a song, because I have found out that songs and poems are real similar. I chose this song for many reasons such as, its motivating, tells a story to which I like to live by, keeps me moving forward, and I believe I will reach my goals by listing to this song. This song starts out with the stanza" Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity to sieze everthing you ever wanted-One moment would you capture it or just let it slip?The very first time I ever herd this song it dawned on me that I need to thing have I let chances slip or have I captured them ? So, now every time I step on the soccer field or in school I make sure I capture every chance I'am given because I know that after the game or in school they will be gone and only regrets. Now for the chorus, " You better lose yourself in the music, the moment You own it, you better never let it go You only get one shot, so not miss your chance to blow This opportunity only comes once in a life time." After hearing this it just makes me so pumped up because he is correct and I do have to capture everything good that comes my way. I like the part dont miss your chance to blow! For me my chance to blow is right now because I DO want to go to college, to get a degree and play soccer, and I will do everything in my power not to let it slip! Then, in this whole song there is on line that I will Truley keep with me for ever and it is the last line in the song and it states " You can do anything you set your mind to." This is what gives me the drive to keep going forward because I know that I can and I will conqure the goals I want out of life, but from this song I have learned that they will not come easy and I will have to work for them. If I do not suceed the the first time I will get back up on my feet and suceed the next! One last line in the song that stuck out to me was " Success is my only option, failure's not!!!! To me I live by this quote becasue I will never let myself fail! This is why I chose this song for my blog today.

...........Now enough about me and more about what the song is about. This song is about a rapper who failed in the begging. He lives a very poor live and hates how boreing it is. He can not support his family on hours form 9-5! After he failed he will not take no for an answer and got back on his feet to make things right. At the end of the song he was faced with one question" Will you capture it or just let it slip. Which means are you going to go out there and become a rapper or are you going to be just another guy sitting behing a desk wishing they cought their moment. !!!!!!
